Vacation Day 4

We are all trying to avoid the camera today. Despite the spf 30 we used yesterday, the only thing we are missing is the little pop up sticks to indicate that we are done. I am going to submit a picture of my nose to Pantone for a new line of red.

But that hasn't kept us from having fun. It poured for most of the day which was a good excuse to stay indoors and watch some tv and play some games that we brought. The kids are all about Pokemon and I would rather do laundry that have to remember who's hit points are better in a card game.

So it was Taco Tuesday... or is it Monday? Who cares, it's vacation. For a treat tonight the kids got a real root beer... in a bottle. You would have thought that I brought their Pokemons to life. It is good to be a hero some days.





























We are also perfecting our sarcasm. Note the winking at the end, after the word "beer". My little prince saw the movie replayed and thought he should have made quote marks with his fingers instead of winking.




Since we are avoiding the sun, we took this opportunity for a night walk on the beach. It was so peaceful and so gorgeous. Words can not describe! It was low tide and we were hunting for anything that moved. We saw a bat, a crab, a hermit crab, several schools of fish stranded in a tide pool and a scary dead fish that looked as though it had fangs.


















































The best part was watching the kids walk around with glow sticks jumping at their own shadow.
